I love the style to the graphics, and I think that’s a great design element to build on. In terms of usability, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to create a project or integrate into an existing project translation. I think you guys may have just run out of time to polish the edges on the user experience.
Conceptually, I love it. I think there is a huge market for an application like this, and I think it easily lends itself to a commercial expansion whereby professional translators use this system as a source of fulltime employment. I love that you have the ‘reputation’ built into the concept.

Lovely design and a great start to the app, but I could not find my way to editing pages for translation.
There is clearly a market for this sort of utility, but this app only scrapes the surface of a complex subject.
Great idea! I’ve talked with a number of people about crowdsourcing translations over the past couple of years (specifically for the Rails documentation), and it’s an exciting field. I think you’ve got a good start here, though there are some issues.
The design is inconsistent – you’ve got great illustrations on some pages, some slightly-sloppy icons on others, and overly-plain forms on still others. I’d like to see things be much more consistent overall. Similarly, your interface is very helpful and intuitable at times, and … not, at other times. When looking at a project, I’d click on a link and get redirected to the same page with no indication of what exactly happened.
The design issues contribute to a feeling of incompleteness in the app in general; it might have all the features it needs, but I’m just not sure from my explorations.
Even with all of that, though, I still think that crowdsourcing translations is a fantastic idea, and you’ve got the first general platform for that I’ve seen. I really hope that you continue to build the product beyond the Rumble, because I think it could be of use to a lot of people.
