What
This or That: it is an age old question that pertains to people, ideas, sports teams, and so on. FastFeud.com allows users to quickly create match ups that can then be shared virally through Facebook (using Facebook Connect) and Twitter. The experience is visual, exciting and fast-paced - allowing users to rapidly interact with numerous feuds.
Each match up includes a question, two contestants and images. Users are then encouraged to vote on the match up - on FastFeud.com, Facebook and Twitter. Votes are collected and winners are presented.
When shared via Facebook, users are able to post the match up and images of the two contestants directly into their Facebook feeds. When shared via Twitter, users are able to promote their match up and voting preference to their Twitter following.

@zapnap… thanks for the thoughtful comments. I really appreciate the rationale behind the score
Alright, so this is sort of a tired concept (the whole ‘hot or not’ revisitation), but you’ve changed my mind due to executing on it well. Personally I like this.
The animation, at first, is a little jerky. But the concept is smooth it’s easy to sit there and just click through one after another. When you get to the end of the topics it’s a little unintuitive — you click vote like you usually would and nothing happens. After awhile you realize that the ‘next’ button is grayed out. Another minor quirk: questions that have long text are truncated, and therefore are impossible to read.
Overall, great execution on a simple idea.
Very “Hot or Not” and “FaceBook Compare Friends” ish
There was some kind of hiccup with the server. Everything’s back to normal. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
Hey guys, sorry about that. We had some bad input and just cleaned it up.
Everything should be back to normal.
zapnap – ditto here. I get lots a javascript popup that took about five minutes to dismiss by holding down my return key
When I visit the site I keep getting javascript alert boxes that pop up and ask my ‘fast feud?’ and refuse to go away. Help! :)
Thanks for the comments!
Peter Cooper: thanks and glad you like the user experience. Maybe we should seed hotornot content into this and take their traffic ;)
travib: do you mean allowing people to plugin quiz like matchups into their own sites? that’s an interesting idea we haven’t thought about yet. what do you envision it being like in plugin form?
kextreme68: Thanks for the comments. Definitely going for viral spread with Twitter and Facebook.
This is a really cool app and is definitely something that I can see people getting into on Facebook and Twitter with their friends.
I really like it. I was working on something like this recently. I am glad you got it done. Are you guys planning to put out a plugin or something that allows for this type of functionality?
Looks great, slick implementation, enjoyed clicking through this. Fun! If HotOrNot were more like this, I might still visit :)
