What
We hate bad coffee. We hate the way it tastes, the way it smells, and most of all we hate paying for it. Decaf Sucks is about helping eachother to find the good cafés and avoid the bad ones.
We’re hoping that you’ll help us make it a useful tool for finding the perfect espresso wherever you are.

Really slick. The only issue I found was if the address wasn’t valid, the map just shows up as blank instead of saying something like “hey you idiot put in a real place!!” :)
I really like the concept as coffee is a social activity and drinkers are very passionate. I think there is a lot here to work with. Integration into the Yelp API or something that opens up location data would be a great start. I could not find my local places for instance. Allowing reviews around shops, brews, drinks, beans is a great next step too. And making the site social via Facebook would be a terrific move for user acquisition.
I honestly can’t see a point to using this. It has no advantage over Google Maps. Nothing that says that I should use them rather than search an already populated Google, and while not adding any new features to the table.
The design is nice and works. I like how it’s customised to work with the iPhone too.
Make that 5km :)
I’d like to encourage all users and judges to check out the site on the iPhone as well! We’ve built it so that you can write a review while sitting in the café. The site uses the phone’s GPS so that you don’t have to worry about specifying your location. Better yet, if you’re looking for a good coffee, open the site on your iPhone and it will give you reviews for all the cafés within 5m of your current location.
I, too, hate decaf. Awesome application. Does what it purports to do. Great job!
